ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate design concepts, including space planning and furniture layout that are appropriate, functional, and aesthetic.Space plan and assist in preparing working drawings for non-load-bearing interior construction.Communicate with architects and contractors regarding drawings and specifications.Monitor progress of construction projects in order to maintain planned aspects of time, quality and cost.Assist with specifying and ordering architectural finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.Monitor status of furniture and finish orders weekly and maintain orders with updated information.Coordinates and follows up on repairs to furniture with the proper personnel or vendors.Assist with coordinating construction contractors, furniture dealers, movers, Information Services, Security department and department heads.Maintain sample library.Ability to work independently on various projects; ability to keep accurate records; ability to manage/track project costs; ability to resolve unexpected issues or problems on the spot.Assist in artwork selections from the company collection.Select locations and install of pieces as required.Assist in maintaining inventory andMaintain fixed asset management records.Review invoices for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and allocate costs for approval by Facilities Manager.Assist in facilities management at outlying branches and properties.Communicate daily with employees, vendors, architects, and contractors.Obtain vendor COIs and background checks to support company policies.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a related field.1+ years of related experience and/or training.AutoCad experience required.Equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Valid Arkansas Driver’s License.NCIDQ Certification or desire to become certified.American Society of Interior Designers or International Interior Design Association.
