As a Senior Digital Designer, your role is crucial in crafting easy-to-use interfaces that balance user needs with business goals. Your work ensures digital touchpoints are efficient, enhancing end-user productivity while being intuitive and enjoyable. You will base your design decisions on qualitative and quantitative insights, collaborating closely with product teams to deliver value. Moreover, you will foster a culture of human-centered design, creating seamless interactions that reflect our brand identity and digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Craft innovative and human-centered interactions across Delta's digital platforms.

Contribute to the enhancement of Delta's omnichannel digital design system.

Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all digital assets.

Help grow the enterprise design function, contributing to the development of playbooks and best practices.

Collaborate with product teams, fellow designers and user researchers to develop intuitive interfaces.

Work alongside developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Minimum 5 years of digital design experience.

A robust portfolio showcasing your understanding of design principles.

Proficiency in design systems, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping tools.

Familiarity with user research and testing methodologies.

Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and design optimization.

Basic knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks.

Expertise in responsive and mobile-first design principles.

Expertise in Agile methods and Design Thinking.

Effective communication skills.

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.

Knowledge of digital accessibility design and human-centered design methods.

Previous experience in retail design, customer and/or employee touchpoints.
