SUMMARY :
Review s , analyzes, provides technical support, and maintains telecommunications system (which includes PBX operations, answering service, voice processing, and data transmission). Supervises PBX / Telephone Operators. Provides customer training of the telecommunications features and functionality. Assists in designing and developing telecommunications system s .

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree from an accredited College , University , or Trade School certificate in telecommunications, related degree or equivalent experience. Two to five y ears of telecommunications experience required , and knowledge of call accounting applications preferred. 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred .
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Must have valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation. Job requires travel between facilities on a daily basis .

Responsible for maintaining all PBX phone switches and provide support for all telecommunication needs.Supervises and overseas day to day responsibilities of the Telephone Operators.Works directly with customers to solve telecommunication problems expeditiously. Responsible to independently solve problems by direct intervention or by obtaining required support from vendor/consultants or management.Works expeditiously with vendors and corporate support personnel to resolve problems.Works closely with the Manager of Technical Services to develop strategy, plan and provide direction for telecommunication systems.Serves as technical resource to team members to deliver excellent customer service in solving all telecommunication problems expeditiously.Responsible to implement and maintain all cable runs for a converged network.Participates in creating an effective multidisciplinary approach in meeting Information Services challenges.Participates in the development and implementation of process improve projects, ensuring the continued delivery of quality products and services.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of converged network and equipment used.Configure and manage all cellular, paging and telecom devices.Ensure adequate telephone coverage by installing new extensions and changing and deleting existing extensions as needed.Maintain accurate records of in-house telephone directories . Distribute as appropriate .Maintain accurate records on telephone equipment utilization , pager, location, performance, and status of maintenance contracts.Maintain accurate records on telephone equipment failure, maintenance, and repair.Provide technical advice in telephone equipment evaluation, selection , and installation.Serves as backup to Help Desk , and Desktop SupportPerform other duties as requested .
