Overview
First Citizens is seeking a detail-oriented marketing project manager to help drive key projects during this exciting time of integration and expansion for the bank. This position is responsible for the advanced execution and administration of Bank projects and for managing the marketing needs of our associates in the field across First Citizens' business and consumer segments. Manages all aspects of assigned project life cycle including planning, scope definition, design, and delivery. Tracks and reports progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators. Coordinates activities of both internal and external parties across multiple functions to achieve project goals.Responsibilities
Strategy - Responsible for the strategic development, execution, and management of projects. Maximizes available resources while minimizing risk. Ensures high quality results by employing best practices, engaging appropriate expertise, and making administrative decisions.Project Coordination - Coordinates a team of associates throughout project life cycle. Conveys clear expectations of project goals. Resolves issues, directs work activities, and keeps team on track with project schedule.Collaboration - Works in conjunction with marketing teammates, marketing centers of excellence, sales enablement, sales associates in the field, compliance and outside parties. Facilitates communication across functions to enhance process flow, drive alignment and build relationships.Reporting - Implements methods of tracking progress and performance. Conveys results of tracking to appropriate parties through reports or other documentation.Field Support - manage requests from sales associates and management by leveraging resources to offer solutions, coordinate completion of new, prioritized requests, clearly communicate when requests are not prioritized, effectively set expectations and communicate status updates in a way that helps build relationships. Look for opportunities to educate the field on common themes and requests that may help increase efficiencyAdministration - facilitates third party risk assessments for new external engagements, supports invoice payments and budget tracking, may manage and administer the intake process of new marketing requests for prioritization among other tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experienceKnowledge of Salesforce CRM system, Marketo, Optimizely, Seismic preferredThe succsessful candiate will be highly organized and can balance many projects a one time. A strong relationship builder and collaborator withproven written and verbal communications skills and attention to detail, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can work well deadlines.Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple, complex projects or campaigns simultaneously. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesIf hired in IL, the base pay for this position is generally between $103,000 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
