News Content Producer Deseret Digital Media (DDM), which manages KSL.com, is looking for a News Content Producer a motivated individual(s) to manage and produce news content for KSL.com. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in journalism and a rich understanding of news. This is a swing-shift position (generally 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and will require the candidate to work at least 1 weekend day each week. We are a hybrid workplace, meaning employees work nearly all shifts from home. We are looking to fill either part time or full time positions. Key Responsibilities: Build and publish stories based on reporting from KSL.com and our content partners Write breaking news stories as needed Communicate clearly with the newsroom team Edit photos, graphics, videos, audio clips and text using appropriate editing tools Optimize story performance using various analytical tools Publish and promote KSL.com stories through our various social media channels Maintain careful documentation of story day planning and publishing schedules Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Bachelor degree in journalism or related field One (1) year experience in news writing, journalism or web production Ability to write clear, conversational and accurate content in AP style Ability to work under pressure and on deadline Ability to work well with others on a team Detail-oriented in reviewing content A passion for the news Deseret Digital Media is an equal opportunity employer.
