A Mechanical Designer Senior is needed for a leading provider of products and services to the energy industry in the Duncan, OK area. This role involves developing engineering changes and CAD drawings for complex equipment, requiring design judgment, expertise in PDM systems, while ensuring drafting quality and incorporating reliability and safety analysis throughout the design process.

salary: $35 - 40 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Associates
responsibilities:
Create accurate CAD models for parts.
Develop product structures within Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
Prepare complex design layouts and schematics based on rough sketches or instructions from engineering personnel, allowing for independent design judgment.
Ensure drafting quality in design documentation.
Review and check the completeness and accuracy of drawings created by other design personnel.
Conduct tolerance studies on tools to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Apply expertise in materials and manufacturing methods.
Incorporate reliability, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and quality analysis techniques during the design process.
Education and Experience:
Completion of an Associate's degree in drafting or a related discipline, along with 7 years of relevant experience.
Alternatively, 9 years of related drafting/design experience without a degree.
