Lead Advertising Operations Specialist (Dealer.com)

The core focus of this role is to ensure that post-sale, clients digital marketing/advertising objectives are understood, documented, and translated into correct advertising strategies and properly communicated through all required systems and teams. This role is focused on the technology and tooling required to build advertising campaigns across a wide media mix including, but not limited to, Search Engine Marking, Social, Display, CTV/OTT, Pinterest etc. This role requires detailed Quality Assurance processes and partnership with support teams. Additionally, this role will provide similar support for existing clients enrolling in new products, upgrading/downgrading products, and product cancellations.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of all Digital Marketing fulfillment requests. These requests include both client facing and internal requests. Examples of requests include: new campaign builds, collecting campaign assets (logos, videos), configuring inventory feed exports, configuring website tracking pixels, etc.
  • Serve as the Client Services/Advertising Strategist point of contact, guiding them through the campaign build, launch, and quality assurance processes.
  • Act as advertising product and compliance subject matter expert, ensuring strategies for build adhere to OEM guidelines and Cox Automotive best practices. Revise strategy with Client Services as needed.
  • Implement campaigns into Account Management system and communicate readiness status with downstream teams for final ownership. Maintain ownership until acceptance by downstream teams (e.g. Client Services)
  • Provide similar support for existing clients enrolling in new products, upgrading/downgrading products, and requesting product cancellations.
  • Process cancellation initiated by the client or downstream teams; ensuring all Dealer Marketing system and processes are completed successfully.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance reviews of all work (new launches, product changes, cancellations, etc.) to ensure proper handling of the request. QA may include the review of work of peers to ensure high level of accuracy. Examples of QA activities include: 3rd party reporting verification, auditing of targeting, delivery reports, etc.
  • Maintain intermediate level of knowledge on Digital Marketing solutions, best practices as well as overall industry updates and trends. This will include knowledge of Consumer Marketing, and the Dealer.com Marketing Website and Managed Services portfolios, as well as others.
  • Assist with other Digital Marketing teams (Ad Support, Ad Product, Ad Strategy, etc.) to investigate and support internal or external escalations related to creative, performance, reporting, billing, or other advertising related issues.
  • Assist with other Digital Marketing teams regarding the development of new or enhanced products and capabilities. This spans actual products as well as internal solutions to support these products.
  • Assist in writing job aides and process documentation related to the role to ensure they are up to date. For example, Order Entry Guidelines.
  • Assist in authoring and maintaining any materials required to define or educate other Dealer Marketing teams of our processes and best practices related to the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience;
  • OR 9 years' experience in a related field
  • 2-4 years related digital marketing experience, specific to SEM, Social, Display, Video advertising
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
  • Proficient managing to timed deliverables.
  • Proficient handling multiple assignments.


Preferred Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Marketing, Economics, Finance. or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Industry standard digital advertising certifications (Google Ads, Microsoft, Meta, etc.)
  • Experience working with automotive clients at the dealer or OEM level.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient experience using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Intermediate proficiency working with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Business Suite
  • Intermediate proficiency using Salesforce or comparable CRM solution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient at grasping new concepts quickly.

USD 23.17 - 34.81 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
