Director, Technical Product Owner Marketing The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Salesforce Product Owner will be responsible for leading all aspects of the product ownership of Salesforce applications related to marketing teams, along with other applications in the marketing portfolio. This role requires a strong knowledge of marketing processes and functions, as well as experience with Salesforce and managing SAAS application platform roadmaps. The role will work closely with collaborators to understand organizational needs and priorities, and effectively translate them into technology development work. Responsibilities: Product Ownership: Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce marketing features and other marketing business systems, taking ownership of their development, improvement, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle. Marketing Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of marketing functions, including knowledge of industry standards, and emerging trends in marketing technology. Salesforce Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce and its various modules, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Personalization, and Data Cloud. Leverage Salesforce capabilities to improve marketing processes and outcomes. This will include actively sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization. Engineering Collaboration: Work directly with the engineering team to ensure solution designs meet requirements effectively. SAAS Application Platform Roadmaps: Lead the roadmap for the SAAS application platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and industry trends. Continuously evaluate and prioritize feature development and enhancement opportunities. Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with collaborators across the organization, including marketing teams, IT, business leaders, and end-users, to gather requirements, understand challenges, and prioritize needs. Facilitate effective communication and ensure collaborator agreement. Prioritization and Planning: Prioritize organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology development work. Break down complex requirements into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create a product backlog. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This will include demonstrable understanding of collaborator strategy, needs, workflows, value drivers, decision making processes, as well as unstated intentions / goals. Agile Development: Work within an Agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on feedback and changing business needs. Requirements: 12 years of experience and solid understanding of marketing functions, with a focus on marketing within a SAAS environment. Experience with Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud and related modules. Consistent track record of leading SAAS application platform roadmaps, prioritizing features, and delivering successful outcomes. Ability to work effectively with collaborators at all levels of the organization, providing good communication and partnership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in multi-functional teams. Consulting experience in process optimization Experience collaborating with business leadership to align strategy with the technology roadmap. Previous account or client management experience. The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
