Summary The Digital Marketing and CRM Specialist will be responsible todesign, deliver, and optimize communications journeys across digital media, direct mail, email, and SMS. This role will work closely with Marketing Technology and Operations, Communications and External Affairs, Relationships, and Philanthropy teams to support communications journeys across a range of target audience groups, including internal communications, business partners, fundholders, advisors, donors, and nonprofit organizations. Key Responsibilities CRM Collaborate with internal teams to design CRM strategies to support overall foundation objectives. Lead the end-to-end development and execution of customer lifecycle journeys, from wireframing to testing and deployment. Design and deploy all email, SMS, and Direct Mail content, in partnership with internal and external creative resources. Some coding required. Maintain customer lists, complete customer exports and tag management for all email campaigns. Analyze customer data and campaign performance to optimize journeys and make data-driven improvements. Collaborate with vendors and agencies as needed on larger CRM initiatives. Partner with Marketing Technology & Operations team on upcoming implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Stay up to date on the latest CRM trends and technologies, implementing new ideas to enhance our direct marketing efforts to drive foundation objectives. Digital Media Collaborate with internal teams to design digital media campaigns to support seasonal campaigns and annual marketing objectives. Build and optimize digital media campaigns, including SEM, Paid social media (Meta & LinkedIn), and Display advertising in partnership with retained media agencies and creative resources. Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, suggesting new ideas to enhance our digital presence. Qualifications / Skills / Requirements Familiarity working across all digital channels: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, SEM, Paid social media (Meta & LinkedIn), and Display advertising Familiarity with Mailchimp and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred Bachelor's degree required. Specific degree in marketing, communications or related preferred. 4-6 years successful experience in marketing/communications with a focus on CRM and/or digital media strategy. Attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important. Excellent communicator: verbal and written. Optimistic problem-solver with the ability to think critically. Dependable with the ability to follow through and keep to commitments. Diligent project manager with ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously while interacting with all levels of staff and external constituents. At ease communicating with internal/external stakeholders across a broad range of topics. At ease with ambiguity. Can handle undefined assignments and self-motivated to reach goals. Self-motivated, able to work independently, forward-thinking and creative.
