We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help build our online presence while engaging with our diverse audience across multiple platforms. As the Social Media Coordinator , you will be responsible for developing content, managing DGDG's social media channels, and driving engagement that reflects our br&’s voice and values. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, dealerships, and partners to craft compelling stories, promote events, and showcase our vibrant work culture and friendly environment. This position will require you to work on-site in San Jose, CA. What you'll be working on: Content Creation and Management: Develop, curate, and post engaging content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Capture photo and video from DGDG Does Good events, inventory, and daily happenings. Schedule and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts. Brand Messaging and Strategy: Maintain the DGDG brand voice across all platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and DGDG Core Values. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that drives brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement. Stay up to date with social media trends and provide recommendations to improve DGDG’s online presence. Audience Engagement and Growth: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms, fostering a positive and engaging community. Monitor social media analytics to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Use social media tools to track audience growth, engagement, and overall campaign success. Brand Reputation: Write personal responses back to guests who have taken the time to write us a review. Escalate any negative reviews to the proper leadership. Social Media Advertising: Assist in planning and executing paid social media campaigns to drive traffic and generate leads. Track campaign performance and provide reports with actionable insights. What you need to bring to the table: 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the automotive industry or retail. Must have previous professional business experience to be considered. Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) and social media management tools. Passion and knowledge for the automotive industry. Must include links to portfolio or sites of content creation. Strong writing, communication, & content creation skills (photo, video, copywriting). Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Experience with influencer collaborations and marketing is a huge plus Salary: $48-$74K/annually Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
