You will utilize your strong communication and organization skills to collaborate with internal and external parties, ensuring our products are available for doctors to conduct hands-on training with before returning for use at the next workshop. In this role you will also assist in capitalizing on sales when attendee information is received after each workshop.
This is a hybrid role working onsite at our Des Plaines, IL location, 4 days a week.
What you'll do as a Product Marketing SpecialistAs a Product Marketing Specialist you will gain an understanding of the dental business and the product portfolio. You will have a focus product category and will have the following responsibilities under the direction of a Product Manager (product category owner):
Conventions and Course SupportManagethe hands-on workshops by coordinating materials and communications with internal and external parties.Ensureall HuFriedy Group products arrive on time to the specified locations and are returned to our facilities once the workshop has concluded.Supportspecialty conventions with organization and material preparation.
Market Research & New Product DevelopmentProvide market intelligence on the trends, customers, competitors and other factors affecting the marketplace to support management decision making.Gather data on competition, summarize, and communicate findings.New product development research to support business cases and marketing planning.Frequent communication and collaboration with global sales team on focus projects and products. Field Travel as needed (up to 10% in US).Attend major industry tradeshows to build clinical, product, and market knowledge.Manage the new product dealer submission process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Participate in phases of the stage-gate process for NPD including product research, product testing, in-field design testing support, customer analysis, marketing plan, and sales and Customer communication plan.
Financial Analysis, Trending, and Reporting for Existing and New ProductsAnalyze data to support key marketing metrics for financial and market reports on productportfolio.Trending reports (Ex: Free Goods, Dealer Programs).ManageProduct discontinuation/inactivation submissions to dealers and reportingSupportFinancial planning and modeling for new products when necessary.Inventory planning and forecasting support for focus product area.
Implementation of Product Marketing Plans and key POAs for focus product areaSupport the PM Team with activities that drive sales and education for strategic product linesDownstream sales support for product promotions and development of sales collateral.Support and participate in sales meetings, national & regional conferences and events.Presentation content development and training support.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Bachelor's degree0-3 years' related experienceExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsOrganized and detail orientedDemonstrated ability to structure and manage a project from start to finishAbility to work in a dynamic and collaborative environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
