Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment with new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization and Dashboard Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau. This role will support our government contract team in providing real-time insights to customers without the need for traditional PowerPoint presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into interactive graphic visualizations/dashboards.
Design, implement, and maintain Tableau-based dashboards for ongoing project status reporting.
Interfacing of Tableau Dashboard with external portal, applications, and datasets
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across visualizations.
Provide training and support to team members on the use of dashboards.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and visualization techniques.
Work closely with other teams to integrate Tableau with other data sources (e.g., Jira Align, ServiceNow).
Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI
Six (6) or more years of software development experience required.
Three plus (3+) years proven experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics, and reporting.
Ability to work with large datasets and translate complex information into user-friendly visual formats.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Jira Align, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is a plus.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a government contracting environment.
Knowledge of project management and reporting tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. (Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.)
Desired Certifications:
DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) certification highly desired

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
