Job Description

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of developers. We're seeking a Data Visualization Engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders' needsGather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysisRecommend optimal visualizations for insightful, actionable business useCollaborate with data engineers and analysts to acquire and transform data for reporting purposesEnsure compliance with data security best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reportsRequired:

5+ years creating data visualizations3+ years with Power BI report/dashboard developmentExpertise in using different Power BI functionalitiesExperience developing DAX calculations and M (Power) QueriesExperience with developing interactive dashboards -e.g., parameters, actions, navigation -for ease-of-use.Proficiency in creating dataflows and data-marts. Experience in composite modelsKnowledge of Power BI contexts and its typesExposure to applying security to Reports, Apps and workspaces3+ years SQL experience (Oracle preferred)Experience in connecting to and leveraging multitude data sources including Hive, Impala, and OracleExperience in creating pixel perfect reports using Power BI report builderExcellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reportsPreferred:

Familiarity with Cloudera HadoopKnowledge in emerging cloud technologies related to Big DataPrevious experience in Finance/Banking industryLocation:
