As the
Associate Media Planning Director , you will drive the strategic media planning process across traditional, digital, and paid social channels to deliver outstanding results for clients. Reporting to the Media Director, you will create innovative, data-driven media strategies that align with client goals and stay ahead of market trends. This role includes collaborating closely with clients and stepping in as needed to lead the team, ensuring a seamless, impactful experience for both clients and agency staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Media Strategies : Craft and optimize media plans that integrate traditional, digital, and social channels, targeting key client metrics, budgets, and audience insights.Team Leadership and Mentorship : Guide and develop media planners and ad operations staff, supporting their professional growth and contributions to client success.Client Engagement : Serve as the primary media planner for select accounts, collaborating with media buyers to design targeted, effective media plans, supported by research and tactical precision.Quality Assurance : Ensure that all media research, persona development, and strategic documentation meet client needs and agency standards.Collaborative Execution : Work alongside the Associate Media Buying Director to align planning and buying efforts, driving unified and impactful client results.New Business Development : Support new business initiatives by developing and presenting media strategies with audience insights, personas, and tactical recommendations.Qualifications:
Experience : A Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of integrated media planning and team management experience, ideally within an agency setting, with proficiency in paid social media.Technical Skills : Expertise with STRATA, SQAD, SRDS, Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics, and social media platforms (Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn).Core Skills : Excellent multitasking, critical thinking, and communication abilities, with strengths in strategic planning, public speaking, and team leadership.
