Please review the job profile below and apply today!The UX Researcher will work with product teams to help develop user-centric designs that are testable and adaptable. This role will be self-directed and collaborative, using best practices for design testing, human factors, and cognitive psychology. The UX Researcher will work with the UX Designers to create prototypes in Figma for user testing. The UX Researcher will meet with users to test designs and provide feedback to the team that is clear, concise, and actionable.
.What Youll be Doing:Work collaboratively with product owners, developers, and QA to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experienceAssess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testingConduct user research in Meijer stores by observing team members as they complete their tasks, gaining insights into their workflows and identifying areas for improvement. Conduct user research and influence the implementation of the findings.This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
Hands-on experience with lab-based user testing, remote testing, prototype testing, concept testing, field research, and survey designExperience with all aspects of research, including study design, recruiting, facilitation, analysis, reportingProficiency in UserZoom, Question Pro, Survey Monkey, and RecollectiveGood visual design skills that are showcased through a portfolio that demonstrates research plans and results.Ability to present your findings and sell your solutions to various stakeholdersAbility to make strong recommendations based on industry trends, consumer research, business needs and technical feasibility/difficultyExcellent communication (verbal and presentational) interpersonal skills along with the ability to collaborate across multiple business unitsHigh performance under pressure and in adherence to deadlines with a quality outputPractical experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment desired
