We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.The Remote Truss Designer is responsible for the accurate design of roof and floor trusses for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.Location : can be remote anywhere in the United StatesPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek softwareOptimize designs for maximum efficiencyReview orders, layouts, and data files for accuracyAssist sales and production with design service and troubleshootingPerforms other duties as required
QualificationsMinimum high school graduatePreferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalentMinimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilitiesWorking knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferredWorking knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangarsCompensation & Benefit Information:$45,000 - 65,000 annually
Bonus/Incentive Pay:A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
