Our client a semiconductor products manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree and experience with 3D SolidWorks design which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Designer (6-Month to 1-Year Contract)
Location: North Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley Area)
Pay Range: $30.00-$38.00 Hourly
What’s the Job?
• Conduct research and design new products using SolidWorks CAD, including modeling, FEA validation, and drafting.
• Apply knowledge of machines, materials, and engineering practices to complete product designs and select production materials.
• Collaborate with production staff to develope and support manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet requirements and customer expectations.
• Make informed decisions to optimize product cost, performance, and quality.
What’s Needed?
• Associates degree preferred
• SolidWorks experience
• Experience designing mechanical and electro-mechanical products
• Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, tight tolerance components.
• Experience with documentation and PLM.
