Job Description:
Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the business managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, seamless, and engaging user experiences for our internal digital platform. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iteratively testing and refining designs based on user feedback. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UX best practices, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to balance user needs with business goals.
Major Accountabilities:
- Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop design solutions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics data.
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX design and usability principles.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a UX designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, user-centered design, and best practices in UX design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present and justify design decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
- Additionally, experience with the following would be beneficial:
- Front-end development preferably Angular (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Prototyping tools (InVision, Proto.io, etc.).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Design Thinking or similar processes.
SALARY RANGE: $150K - $170K
