This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Senior Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive product positioning, messaging, and content needs for our entire product portfolio that will synthesize across all channels. This role builds the roadmap to integrate our product portfolio communications across the consumer experience and across channels to ensure our experiences are strongly differentiated against our competitors. This role manages and provides direction to a project lead to ensure key strategy milestones are being achieved, and that positioning and messaging deliverables are up to our product standards. Researches, explores, and evolves product efforts into new strategies and tactics beyond the expected. Documents and communicates product launch results and status to supervisor, channels, and partner teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product strategy, product development, and stakeholder departments to understand the marketable opportunities and devise a strategic, cross channel, multi-market plan for product marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Devise timing and approach for product marketing development and guide the product marketing channel leads to ensure timely delivery and implementation of various product initiatives.
  • Clearly outline product marketing strategy goals, objectives, positioning/messaging strategy, channel tactics, channel content needs, set measurable KPIs, and analyze effectiveness of products in-market.
  • Analyze and forecast current market challenges, provide competitive analysis, and put forth innovative product marketing solutions.
  • Continually call upon product knowledge to ascertain the cause-and-effect of interdependent products and how other product marketing strategies may need to be adjusted in light of new tactics.
  • Possess highly collaborative, people-focused personality to ensure strong relationships with team and channel leaders, and higher investment by channel teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Collaborate with product strategy, consumer insights, product development and other stakeholder teams, early in the development process, to ensure advocacy for marketable features in new, developing products.
  • Explore and evolve new product marketing strategies and creative deliverables toolkit to bring higher awareness and engagement from expanding and new audiences.
  • Provide regular product marketing updates to North America and global markets.
  • Provide weekly reporting and status updates to supervisor and executives when applicable.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • 10+ years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising (product marketing a must).
  • Strong experience in packaging a strong product messaging architecture founded in insight.
  • Strong understanding of consumer, product, brand, and competitive research.
  • Manage and develop the planning and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies for new and evolved communications and feature releases and enhancements.
  • Translate complex features and capabilities into compelling customer-facing communications across channels and deliverables.
  • Conduct and/or collaborate on research to identify key insights and actionable recommendations for product improvements, messaging and content optimization.
  • Manage the creation of channel materials to support internal teams and promote our products externally.
  • Experience managing agencies and internal/external creative and communication vendors.
  • Experience giving direction, coordinating workflow, and driving key decisions between marketing channels, internal stakeholders, and creative team/agencies.
  • Experience launching new and revamped products into the marketplace detailed into all channels.
  • Adept at documenting and accurately conveying feedback between creative groups.
  • Well versed in channels including web, digital media, social media, out-of-home, email, print, public relations, and other mediums.
  • Strong critical decision-making and excellent communication skills.
  • Cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain poise when dealing with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively improve processes and procedures.
  • Experience creating and managing detailed timelines.
  • Highly organized, deadline driven and detail oriented.
  • Experience with print/digital/CGI assets.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and creative writing talent in English.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
