Material Security is looking for a dynamic, Senior Product Marketing Manager with a passion for working closely with sales teams and an intrinsic desire to help sales win. This role will work closely with the larger GTM and product teams, becoming an integral part of our organization's strategic direction and growth.
You will be a key driver for communicating complex technical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner. You will work side-by-side with sales to help identify gaps in our sales process, stories, and collateral.
Product marketing plays many roles and expectations of this function vary greatly across different companies. At Material Security, we believe the best product marketing will result in shorter sales cycles, higher win rates, and steady or growing ASPs. We're looking for someone excited to make this happen.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and manage a sales enablement strategy specifically tailored to our technical products and the needs of our GTM teams.
- Design and build a competitive program that finds the right balance of depth and breadth to enable our GTM teams to effectively sell and market our products in compelling and differentiated ways within a highly competitive market.
- Create high-quality, informative, and engaging technical content, including whitepapers, product guides, blog posts, and pitches.
- Regularly produce and update sales materials that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Coordinate with GTM and Product teams to ensure accuracy and relevance, fostering collaborative relationships.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technical product marketing or technical customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing technical content for product marketing in a technical or technology-focused industry.
- Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, engaging, and easily understandable content for a variety of audiences.
- Strong technical background in the cloud security (or related) domain, with an in-depth understanding of the technical buyer persona and the ability to align content with their needs.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse formats and styles.
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce cohesive and impactful technical marketing content.
Material Security is a remote-first workplace with an office in San Francisco, California.
Compensation at Material Security is determined by a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $137,700 to $220,000.
