Job Description
The Product Marketing function is responsible for developing, positioning and important messaging for Experian products and services that are crisp, notable, and compelling. Product Marketing serves as a strategic partner to advocate for and promote Experian products in the marketplace, educating customers and integrating strategic messaging into compelling content and programs that promote customer engagement, acquisition, and adoption.
As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and own a set of products across the Experian Financial Services business, partnering with your Product Management counterparts, summarizing insights from the market, competitive landscape, and our product strategy. You will help to bring new products to market through go-to-market plans, value positioning, messaging frameworks, and sales enablement and training. You will engage with multiple partners across the organization and partners in the marketplace to build awareness and demand for our product portfolio.
You should understand the financial services data and technology including scores, analytics, portfolio management and regulations. You have a familiarity with data-driven marketing, advertising and technology with experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, strategy, or sales enablement.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and an understanding of the market, the buyer personas and needs, and the competitive environment
- Promote the creation and maintenance of supporting materials, including a library of both internal and external product content (e.g., pitch decks, case studies, videos, product sheets, whitepapers, etc.).
- Articulate notable product messaging that resonates with the customer
- Partner with teams including engineering, product management, marketing, and sales to accomplish go-to-market campaigns and lead product adoption
- Support win/loss analysis and distill client feedback, uncovering insights to evolve product positioning and messaging and provide relevant recommendations informing sales and product strategy
- You may lead 1 individual contributor in this position
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, strategy, or related field
- Experience in B2B SaaS marketing within the FinTech or financial services sectors
- Experience working with technical or complex products as a trusted partner to both product and sales teams
- Navigate a regionally distributed organization where a significant amount of personal interaction is done online.
