What You'll Do:

As the Senior Manager of Event Marketing, you drive awareness, preference, and pipeline growth through corporate and field events, including our annual User Conference, LM Elevate. You collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to set event goals, shape content and messaging, and develop promotion strategies.

In this role, you are an event marketing expert and execution lead, working as a key player in demand generation efforts. You are highly organized, hands-on, data-driven, and successful in managing cross-functional projects. You have a proven track record in delivering business-to-business (B2B) events that drive pipeline, customer retention, and expansion.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Define and execute event programs that may include community user conferences, roundtables, briefings, executive and influencer programs, launches, private dinners, and other micro-events.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics from project management, staffing, catering, communication, demand gen and budget management/reconciliation.
  • Manage the content development process, in collaboration with product marketing, sales, enablement, community and other teams.
  • Define event KPIs and measure to those KPIs, including reporting out on event success and capturing event feedback for future planning.
  • Manage global event calendar and annual event strategy with a specific focus on execution of events in North America.
  • Motivate and promote plans internally and externally to drive awareness around our presence at key events.
  • Ensure all sales teams are trained and supported to follow up leads with emails, social posts, call/voicemail scripts and other support material.
  • Build and distribute pre-event status reports and post-event results across the organization.
  • Collaborate with demand gen, marketing operations, web, social, email and PR teams to drive awareness of and attendance to all events.
  • Ensure leads generated by events are properly flowed through the LogicMonitor lead flow process and followed up on within the agreed upon timelines between sales and marketing.
  • Manage all post-event activities including development and execution of follow-up plans for event attendees, uploading and tracking leads, wrap-up reports, etc.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time, ensuring clear and proactive communication and follow-up with other departments and third parties to meet deadlines and stay within budget.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years in event marketing (B2B marketing preferred).
  • Strong foundation in marketing, SaaS business principles, and managing vendor relationships/contracts.
  • Exceptional project management, budgeting, and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of building cross-functional relationships.
  • Self-starter with a highly energetic, outgoing personality, able to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce, Slack, PowerPoint, and Asana.
  • Some travel required.
