Compensation: $100,000-$150,000, based on experience
HCN Global seeks a charismatic and dedicated business development professional to drive our efforts to form alliances and business contracts and grant agreements with government, nonprofits, philanthropy and private sector. The Vice President of Health and Social Impact position offers the opportunity to interact with thought leaders and change makers, and to help them meet their Multicultural outreach and engagement goals — in ways that generate positive impact for both their organizations and the Multicultural communities we serve.
The Vice President of Health and Social Impact (VP-HSI) is responsible for devising appropriate strategies to ensure contract wins through active, strategic, tactical, and hands-on developmental roles in all facets of the new business acquisition life cycle, including UVP marketing and pitch approaches, relationship cultivation, narrative and pricing proposal development, and contract execution. The VP-HSI orchestrates timelines, identify and recommend allocation of resources, and monitor and summarize progress of new business pursuits. The Employee must build and maintain working relationships with potential customers, team members, vendors, and other departments involved in pursuit activities. Employee will prepare reports and briefs for the executive leadership team regarding status of pursuits, including preparation of opportunity briefs, gate reviews, and participation in the monthly pipeline review generated by the Company’s CRM platform (Salesforce or Hubspot). The VP-HSI will be highly strategic and experienced in developing and implementing integrated strategic internal and external plans to advance HCN Global’s brand identity, broaden awareness ofthe Company’s capabilities, and increase the visibility of our offerings across key stakeholder audiences as the go-to Hispanic/Latinx and Multicultural-serving agency for positive social impact and behavioral change.

Strategy and Business Development
- Support the development and management of projects and programs, including strategies, implementation plans, evaluation mechanisms, staffing plans, timelines and budgets.
- Act with a high degree of independence and hold responsibility for overall account relationships.
- Help maintain and grow existing accounts, establishing relationships with key client contacts, ensuring that client/HCN relationships exist on multiple levels and grow over time.
- Provide proactive leadership to accounts, staff, and clients.
- Support and coordinate the development of broad range of materials developed by the different teams, including client memos, press releases, speeches, articles, brochures, presentation, and other collateral materials.
- Support the planning and management of paid media buys, earned media strategies, partnership engagements, and events efficiently and effectively.
- Support the development of new business working with senior leaders, as needed.
- Excellent oral and written pitch skills: persuasive in-person, over the phone and via email.
- Understanding of nonprofit and philanthropy mind-set and how to speak their language. Previous nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience a plus.
- Minimum 1-year full-time grant or proposal writing experience.
- Demonstrated success in securing new clients and winning contracts.
- Command of SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce or similar CRM databases required.
- Ability to design and maintain effective marketing materials.
- Previous professional experience with one or more multicultural communities and knowledge of related social justice issues is a plus.
- Self-driven while also able to work with team members spread across the country.
- Well-organized and solid time manager; ability to meet fast deadlines.
- Resourceful with creative solutions.
