Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager
Location: Washington D.C. with flexibility for Telework (must live within driving distance)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week
FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt
Clearance: Secret
Position Summary
The Senior Web Developer will support The Department of State (DOS) Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs (EUR), providing support to other Units and Offices within the DOS to ensure the success of the program's mission. The Senior Web Developer will manage all aspects of EUR and IO SharePoint environments including customization, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of SharePoint platforms. This position will play an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint 2016 online and other collaborative tools within the organization to include Office 365, visualization and Power Automate applications. The performance of the Senior Web Developer is key to RavenTek's performance on the DOS EUR contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with customers to help define and document requirements.
- Assist the customer development team in modifying existing and/or coding new custom applications.
- Coordinate with data owners to ensure appropriate controls are placed on data distribution.
- Create dashboards using MS Office 365 tools.
- Use KnowledgeLake to deliver enterprise content management systems that are leveraged across the entire enterprise.
- Provide tier 3 technical support to application owners when coding or integration issues arise.
- Application development using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Support, update, and secure existing web applications.
- Serve as liaison between senior management and IT management for Power Platform and SharePoint operations.
- Conduct Power Platform training for domestic and overseas customers, as necessary.
- Provide site architecture analysis and determine structure for the various SharePoint sites.
- Design and create web-based forms.
- Implement workflow to automate administrative processes.
- Design and develop advanced reporting capabilities.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure those requirements function properly.
- Provide technical support in all facets of web technology from site planning, design, development and maintenance.
- Work with the database engineer on database connections and data repositories.
- Assist in preparing certification and accreditation materials for required applications.
- Work with Senior Software Developer(s), IT Subject Matter Specialist(s), and Project Manager(s) to ensure all applications meet the requirements as outlined by the respective stakeholders.
- Enter actual time worked at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Monitor and respond to RavenTek email a minimum of 3 times per week.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Critical Skills
- Knowledge of Power Automate.
- Knowledge of information assurance practices and methodologies.
- Ability to train and mentor a small group of technical staff.
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a highly charged and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively present deliverables to audiences with a wide variety of technical knowledge and expertise in support of the design team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Education & Work Experience
- 3+ years Power Platform experience.
- 3+ years SharePoint development experience (Office 365).
- 3+ years training experience instructing end users on web applications and usage.
- Experience evaluating existing business processes to recommend and implement appropriate Power Platform or SharePoint-based solutions.
- Experience with Power BI preferred.
- Experience supporting third party web parts in a web development environment.
- Experience with extensive SharePoint integration with KnowledgeLake.

Work Environment
Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise levels, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands

Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
