2Bridge Partners has engaged on a search for a Sr Web Developer/Architect for a FinTech client. Join a small, growing, well-capitalized, and revenue-producing company building the next generation of OMS/EMS servicing the hedge fund industry.
Our client offers a competitive package that includes a base salary and bonus along with full benefits-medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc. Anticipated total comp in the 250-350 range (split between base and bonus), commensurate with interview performance and professional experience.
They have offices in the Metro NYC area and would prefer someone accessible to the office, but they are open to remote work for the right person. You must be open to working EST business hours and occasional travel to NYC.

Seasoned Web Developer/Architect who has developed high-performance real-time user interfaces with complex streaming event data. The tech stack is Javascript/React on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend, built on top of gRPC services.
We are not looking for proficiency in the visual aspects of the application.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for picking the design patterns to enhance the front-to-back stack for the web applications. This role requires expertise in frameworks, data transmission, and caching strategies to make scalable and performant web applications. A key component of the UI would be developing highly performant data grids that support grouping and pivot-like capabilities across many dimensions. Familiar with all aspects of optimizing the browser rendering and data delivery to minimize latency for large volumes of data. You would be expected and encouraged to go 'outside your lane' and work on other architectural components as needed to bridge any gaps needed to support the web-centric initiatives. This can include identifying and bringing in other technologies where appropriate and/or changing 3rd party control libraries. Support user profiles for controls, dashboards, and widgets to allow customization and sharing by multiple users. Hard requirements:
Technical:
5+ years of experience Proficient in C#.NET (5+ years of experience) Have architected web applications using frameworks with React (must have at least SOME professional experience) or Angular (need to be willing to learn React) (5+ years of experience) Comfortable working with web frontends that have a mix of slowly and fast-changing data - caching and optimizing data transmission. Practical experience using web sockets to render massive amounts of streaming data to the web frontends Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field Nice to Have:
Expertise in using electron-based containers (like OpenFin, Finsemble) and communicating with other applications on windows desktop Experience with data visualization frameworks Experience in scaling out the middle-tier data distribution layer (i.e. distributed caches, messaging, etc.) Experience with alert aggregation, distribution, notification, and acknowledgement Familiarity with AWS Cloud Hosting offerings as it pertains the job requirements above
