A recognized services company in Massachusetts is currently seeking a new Director, Technical Product Owner Marketing for a promising opportunity with their growing team. Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of the product ownership of Salesforce applications related to marketing teams, along with other applications in the marketing portfolio Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce marketing features and other marketing business systems, taking ownership of their development, improvement, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle Work closely with collaborators to understand organizational needs and priorities, and effectively translate them into technology development work Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization. Work directly with the Engineering team to ensure solution designs meet requirements effectively Lead the roadmap for the SAAS application platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and industry trends Continuously evaluate and prioritize feature development and enhancement opportunities Collaborate with collaborators across the organization, including marketing teams, IT, business leaders, and end-users, to gather requirements, understand challenges, and prioritize needs Prioritize organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology development work Break down complex requirements into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create a product backlog Work within an Agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 12 years of experience and solid understanding of marketing functions, with a focus on marketing within a SAAS environment Deep understanding of marketing functions, including knowledge of industry standards, and emerging trends in marketing technology Strong knowledge of Marketing processes and functions Experience with Salesforce and managing SAAS application platform roadmaps Experience with Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud and related modules Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in multi-functional teams Experience collaborating with business leadership to align strategy with the technology roadmap Previous account or client management experience Consulting experience in process optimization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
