External US Job Title: Vincent Application Specialist Job purpose This position is intended to be responsible for providing clinical consulting and support to the implementation projects, sales, and company team members with respect to the use of the company’s products and serving as a consultant on behalf of customers and company personnel in compliance with the company’s quality procedures. Vincent (SYNAPSE 3D) Application Specialist is especially responsible for application training to thoracic, hepatobiliary, urology, and other oncological surgeons in the U.S. The Application Specialist is responsible for Pre-sales evaluation training and post-sales software installation project support for Institution, Hospital, schedule management of user training, and after-training support. Develop customer training material. Attend exhibition, trade shows, workshop, and conference in the U.S.to promote sales opportunities. Duties and responsibilities Serve as consultant on behalf of customers and company personnel. Provide clinical expertise, workflow analysis, upgrade projects. Work closely with HCUS business unit employees to drive effective operations and improve customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements of the company’s quality management system. All other functions and responsibilities that may be assigned by management. Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Customer intimacy: Provide the necessary information to ensure maximum effective use of the product and improve Customer Experience as FUJIFILM user. Cross functional team collaboration: Provides technical expertise within assigned sales in the United Sates. Collaborates with assigned related team to achieve sales goals and drive a higher level of customer experience. Maintains effective communications within and between various cross-functional departments within the organization to ensure maximum sales success, improved business processes and a positive customer experience. Shares responsibility for successful installations and implementations with all departments within HCUS. Participates in meetings and conferences via a travel schedule that is consistent with the requirements of the position. Performs special projects and tasks, as needed. Drives all efforts aimed at providing superior customer experience. Key performance indicators: Collaborate with Service and other departmental groups to achieve a positive customer experience with assigned target accounts. Comply with business processes, as defined by HCUS. Contribute to a collaborative team environment. Ensure ongoing and transparent communication internally and externally. Align behavior with corporate strategy, along with vision, mission, and values. Adhere to the competencies, as defined for the position. Qualifications BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communication, Life Sciences, or related field required. 4 years previous clinical specialist or trainer experience in the hospital market, preferably diagnostic imaging equipment or related peripheral devices into the surgical space. Or Minimum of 2 years technical experience in related Diagnostic Imaging disciplines (i.e. CT, and MR)2-3 years’ experience within a digital imaging environment. Demonstrated success in a training capacity is preferred. Strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns; ability to quickly learn new products and services. Strong ability to communicate at all levels including Managing, Director, Surgeon, Physician, excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Strong technical support experience with excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to address and/or translate workflow requirements to product features. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel 70% of time- includes time spent in the field and at corporate offices. Extensive travel will be required. Strong ability to manage and execute multiple projects at the same time; organize work, self, and support staff as necessary. Understand and apply appropriate quality management system processes. Promote Company standards of business conduct. Strong desire to succeed; ability to work with support staff to encourage maximum teamwork and customer service. Ability to monitor and maintain required reports, including, but not limited to, call tracking, order tracking and reporting on business related expenses. Valid drivers’ license with a safe a driving record is required. Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Usual office and clinical working conditions. Ability to lift to 35 pounds unassisted up to 20% of applicable work time. The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time. The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards and mise, up to 100% of applicable work time. The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time. Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less. Ability to transport with aircraft, train, car. Travel Occasional (up to 70%) travel will be required based on business need.
