Cybersecurity Technical Writer - (DoD TS Clearance)

SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity Technical Writer is responsible for writing and updating documentation, processes, and procedures to support accurate and user-friendly reports, user guides, instructions, presentations, and meeting summaries. They coordinate and document cybersecurity requirements and review projects that impact cybersecurity policies. This position works with technical experts to develop white papers and assist in collecting information for various deliverables. The Cybersecurity Technical Writer edits documents, translates technical information, and prepares online documentation. They also prepare reports, collaborate with developers, and assist in document preparation and contract deliverables. This position requires an Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
DoD Top Secret Clearance is required which requires U.S. Citizenship.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensures technical requirements are documented and integrated into site security efforts. Prepares and maintains operations documentation, user guides, and technical publications.
Reviews and analyzes projects for impacts on cybersecurity policies and procedures. Creates reports and briefings for diverse audiences.
Works with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop white papers addressing common issues. Collaborates with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
Edits technical documents for clarity, ensuring proper terminology for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Assists in gathering and organizing information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, and reports.
Coordinates document layout and design, managing all phases of documentation.
Manages multiple tasks from various requestors simultaneously.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree and a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $29 to $44, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
