About the Role:
The Associate Director, Retention Marketing & Subscriber Cohort Analysis leads and is the 'go to' for subscriber retention analysis, insights, forecasting, and budgeting across Dow Jones' B2C brands including WSJ, WSJ+, Barron's, and MarketWatch.
As Associate Director, you will develop a detailed understanding of why subscribers are/are not renewing their subscriptions through daily/weekly/monthly analysis of all subscriber cohorts. With that, you will then communicate and integrate these learnings with the rest of the team to develop and optimize the overall retention strategy, while also forecasting performance (retention rates, churn, LTV, etc.) across all subscriber cohorts.
In addition, you will be responsible for building a holistic retention strategy across Dow Jones' B2C wealth and investing brands, products, and services which include Barron's and MarketWatch.
Reporting to our Senior Director, Retention, you will lead subscriber cohort insights/analysis, forecasting/budgeting and wealth and investing retention strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally with the Acquisition, CRM, Customer Service, Data Science, Finance, Product, and Technology teams. One Manager, Retention will report to you.
You will work in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days every week.
You Will:Drive retention insights through detailed cohort analysis of the full B2C subscriber base, in partnership with the data science team, to develop new retention strategies as well as optimize existing customer journeys.Develop processes to turn insights and analyses into actionable strategies across pricing, communications, and customer experience, to increase retention and LTV.Partner with the subscriber acquisition team to optimize the full funnel, across all cohorts and introductory offers, with the goal of driving long-term retentionLead all retention forecasting, in partnership with data science and finance, as well as the budget process across all Dow Jones B2C subscriber cohorts.Focus on retainment of wealth and investing subscriptions through a personalized retention journey and strategy.Manage one Retention Manager.You Have:
