Responsibilities:
Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for a Technical Writer to provide technical writing and editing for Command and public information publications. You will oversee preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts. Conducts quality review of materials. Translates complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications, such as technical journals, user and training manuals, websites, and podcasts.Qualifications:Active TS/SCIMinimum 8 YOE with Bachelor Degree, or 6 YOE with Master Degree, or 3 YOE with PhDSpeaks fluent SpanishExperience with multi-lingual capabilities for producing public information documents and develop Command and public information materials for publication (e.g., magazines, brochures, mailers).Experience writting white papers, briefings, strategy or planning documents, and after-action reports.Experience gathering information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff.Experience developing and cataloging systems and maintains records, files, electronic media, and archiving of information for publications.
