Overview:

R&P is looking for an experienced Program Manager and Navy Acquisition Professional who wants to join our team as the Strategic Communications Lead supporting the new construction program office for the Navy's Arleigh Burke Class destroyers. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Program Manager or Analyst with a strong acquisition background ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program.R&P offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes contributions toward health insurance, 401(k) matching, and other non-salary benefits. Exact salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.Responsibilities:Strategic Communications Lead Reports to the Program Integration Task Lead and works in direct support of the GOV Program Management team of the DDG 51 Shipbuilding program. The position is responsible for the design and development of internal and external communications, driving alignment of Program Office status and strategies across high-level Congressional, DoD, and DoN leadership, and Program Stakeholders.Requires significant critical thinking and visualization skills in order to articulate complex ideas in a meaningful way, and to establish connectivity and relationships across products required to align with multi-faceted stakeholder viewpoints.Qualifications:

MUST HAVE NAVY ACQUISITION EXPERIENCE at the Program Office, NAVSEA, or DoN level.Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 Years Experience working with the NAVSEA/DOD Acqusition Community5-10 years professional experience5 years DoD/Navy Program experienceKnowldege of DoD/DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)Active Secret Clearance
