POLITICO is seeking an ambitious, experienced reporter to cover the White House. The reporter will join a team covering one of Washington's most challenging and exciting beats - the White House - just as one president finishes his term and a newly elected president prepares to take office.
We're looking for a reporter who can write authoritatively about the news behind the news, delivering competitive and lively coverage surrounding the president, administration policymaking, key decisionmakers and dynamics in the West Wing.
The reporter will collaborate closely with our Congress and national security reporters as well as our policy teams to offer our readers indispensable coverage of the intersection of policy and politics.
The reporter will deliver high-impact journalism across all our digital platforms, writing a mix of breaking news, quick-turn enterprise, longer-term deep dives and contributing to our daily newsletter.
What You'll Need:
