in Yuma, Arizona has an immediate opening for a full-time Anchor. We're looking for an intelligent and articulate anchor that stands out on camera. You must be willing to multitask, as you will be producing several newscasts daily. Strong producing and writing skills are a must.
Candidate must be able to anchor and produce live newscasts. You must also be able to write interesting news stories from wire copy, field reports and telephone interviews. You must also be able to represent the station at community events, and perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.
The candidate we choose must be able to shoot, write scripts, lead-ins and other material related to news, as well as produce quality newscasts. You must have some experience with anchoring and producing. Spanish proficiency is a big plus in our market. A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication or related field is preferred. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and pass a drug test and background check.
