We've got what you're looking for.Job Description:You will work with Parsons colleagues and partners and the U.S. Space Force to support the framework that hosts applications critical to the defense of our country.As part of our team, you'll get to leverage your Technical Writing Skills (while continuing to learn and improve your skills alongside our subject matter experts), to perform comprehensive technical writing tasks within a team of Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Infrastructure Analysts supporting USSF activities. What You'll Be Doing:Creative writing and document design, communicating "how-to", "next steps" and "in-depth" configuration and operational state manualsMaintain the current draft(s) on the systems' SharePoint PageWork with the IV&T team to validate operational steps are easy to understand and useEnsure technical document deliverables are developed using the most current documentation standardsServe as a documentation SME to the project teamCommunicate status, dependencies, risks and issues daily/weekly to the Team LeadKeep internal Confluence page and log updated with the latest revision and location of documents

What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelors degree and 8+ (10+ highly preferred) years of experiences10 years experience in production and/or editing of technical documents to include specific experience in writing for non-technical audiencesExperience providing Technical Writing support within Engineering teamsExperienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) productsAdditionally, in accordance with any particular task, the candidate shall have a combination of the following skills:Ability to consolidate technical inputs and analyses, and produce a logical, understandable documentAbility to read and "translate" engineering drawings/specificationsAbility to interpret, absorb, and synthesize large quantities of engineering or technical information for non-technical readersAbility to enter technical studies, metadata, and data into relational databasesAbility to upload content onto websites using COTS web authoring tools (Confluence)Ability to create supporting graphics (Figma, Adobe Creative, Lucid Charts, MS Visio, etc.)Ability to integrate existing graphics into documents using various COTS toolsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with latest release of Microsoft OfficeTop Secret Clearance
