Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:The Medical Marketing Programs Manager works with the Medical Marketing team, Corporate Account Executives (CAEs), and cross-functional teammates as needed, to develop and execute business unit marketing plans. This role supports Downstream Marketing planning efforts and leads execution of campaigns and communications in support of channel partners (e.g., dealer, GPO), promotions, product launches, trade shows, customer and sales events, sales meetings, and other assignments as requested.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:• Helps develop and takes ownership of executing downstream product marketing plans and training needs for channel partners, national promotions and product launches• Serves as liaison with internal creative resources to ensure results align with expectations• Monitors campaign effectiveness and competitive activity• Manages trade show schedules, budgets and helps plan strategies and messaging for in-person or virtual events• Sets KPIs and consistently measures results of campaigns• Manages external website content to ensure information is accurate and complete on medical channel partner websites• Sources supporting materials as required which could include gifts, giveaways, props, etc.• Provides direction for the development of marketing materials; recognizes the need to outsource projects and facilitates resource selection• Creates and maintains project schedules, collaborates with internal support teammates to achieve defined objectives
SECONDARY DUTIES:• Interacts with sales personnel and product managers to gain knowledge of Midmark's products and with customers to identify new market needs• Actively participates in strategy meetings• Develops contacts and working relationships with channel partners, vendors and suppliers• Assists with other departmental administrative tasks, as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing related field and 4-6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• Excellent organization, negotiation and presentation skills• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal, including writing and editing• Highly creative and energetic
