Position Overview
We are seeking a curious, driven Intern of Marketing Strategy and Operations with a passion for digital marketing. This role supports the Marketing Strategy and Operations team in delivering the client's vision. The role includes leading a project (internal or client facing) and taking ownership of the project's tasks and solution. Must be able to support client facing needs including the assisting of synthesizing needs and disseminating the information across internal teams for activation, surfacing relevant research, aggregating key insights from discovery and developing narratives to convey findings. They will support a variety of non-client related initiatives including social events, volunteer experiences, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives. This role is a unique opportunity with a chance to contribute to industry-leading work directly impacts the business decisions of our Fortune 500 clients.
An Intern of Marketing Strategy and Operations:
1. Articulates project workstream progress and identifies opportunities or risks to complete the work.
2. Distills and synthesizes research findings to internal stakeholders.
3. Develops relationships with internal teams to help drive the project forward efficiently and effectively.
4. Supports the internal team, providing organization and guidance to ensure quality delivery of key outputs.
Position Qualifications
Pursuing a 4-year college degree in a related field, with expected graduation in 2025 or 2026.Coursework or experience supporting, managing and/or implementing strategies around data, technology or change management solutions is a plus.Ability to take initiative and work in collaboration with internal teams as well as external partners (brands, agencies and platforms).Strong commitment to successfully manage projects across various functional teams and meeting timelines.Excellent time management and organizational skills with an eye for detail.Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.Position Responsibilities
Assisting the primary point of contact for work stream tasks, output development, and delivery (internal and external).Develop a deep level of trust across internal disciplines and contribute to the success of the work stream delivery.Assist in the development of client-facing deliverables including, but not limited to: Presentations, Project Roadmaps, Research and Thought Leadership, Process Documentation, Status Reports, etc.Work closely with the Sr. Associate/Manager in the discovery process, executing evaluations and research projects.Lead/assist in the creation of discovery guides: stakeholder research, industry research, identifying connections to other interviews.Industry research: leverage all available resources to gain a deep understanding of topics.Artifact distillation: synthesize findings gleaned from client-provided documents, diagrams, reports, etc.Key themes: distill findings from discovery (research, artifacts, interviews) into comprehensive themes.Support the Account Lead to monitor project pacing, recommend adjustments to balance workload, and execute billing.Support the Project Manager (PM) in their responsibilities, leveraging and becoming an expert in manipulating project management tools and tasks such as coordination and scheduling of internal/external meetings.Drive operational initiatives by maintaining, informing, and improving upon internal process flows and governance.Grow and maintain knowledge of Marketing technology systems, analytics frameworks, data strategy principles and change management models.Play an active role in supporting advancement of Transparent internal goals to educate and advance our collective expertise.Position Competencies
