Job Description: Project Supervisor - Audio Visual Integration

Position Overview: The Project Supervisor will manage all aspects of audio-visual quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: Perform software/firmware configuration uploads and checks to ensure system performance meets both manufacturer specifications and company standards. Conduct full system calibrations for audio and video on installed systems. Oversee full control system testing with programming support for installed systems. Execute quality control checks for all installation efforts, ensuring adherence to AV best practices and company standards. Complete system testing, acceptance certifications, and commissioning for installed solutions, both remotely and on-site. Provide end-user training and support for deployments. Document configurations for successful implementation (e.g., network configurations, video settings, DSP settings). Approve redline updates on system drawings for any changes made during fabrication, installation, and quality control. Attend internal and external project kickoff meetings as applicable. Conduct site readiness assessments prior to installation and submit reports for review. Submit installation schedules and work plans that align with client timelines. Assess technician skill sets on-site to ensure proper resource allocation for projects. Provide daily progress reports to management. Manage multiple teams, including in-house and subcontracted technicians, to ensure installation quality. Facilitate communication between onsite teams and management. Support technical escalations from the field team, collaborating with team members for resolutions. Attend training sessions to maintain expert-level knowledge of AV technologies and methodologies. Travel to client sites and other offices as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Expert knowledge of industry standards in AV systems design and integration. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead a team. Expertise in audio principles and proficiency in writing and fine-tuning audio programs for Biamp, QSC, ClearOne, and Polycom. Proficient in loading and troubleshooting AMX, Crestron, and Extron systems. Well-versed in network interactions (wired and wireless) and capable of supporting networked solutions for video conferencing and VOIP audio conferencing.

Desired Qualifications: CTS and/or CTS-I/D certification. DMC-E certification. Formal training from Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom, or QSC. Experience/certification in Cisco or Polycom Telepresence installation. SynAudCon training. 5 years or more of related industry experience.
