We're looking for a Senior Manager/Manager to join the Global Business Partnerships Marketing team. If you're passionate about travel, making connections, working with others, and providing a world class experience for our customers, you might be perfect for our team.
Please note that this will initially be a 7-8-month fixed-term contract.
This role will be responsible for managing all marketing efforts related to Amex GBT’s supplier growth and marketplace strategies with air, hotel, and ground transportation suppliers. Activities will focus on engaging partners, clients, prospects, and the overall business travel industry. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on a particularly strategic area of the business and a highly visible marketing program.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, upbeat, and driven. We are looking for someone who has supervisory experience with end-to-end marketing execution, and balancing various types of projects at one time, all while managing many different internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
Supplier Experience, Value Creation, and Growth:
Lead the marketing activities that create value and growth opportunities for our air, hotel, and car supplier partners. Build compelling presentations used for quarterly business reviews, partnership events and executive-level presentations. Create other marketing assets in partnership with our creative studio. Manage and update marketing proof points in collaboration with the different departments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Effectively collaborate with senior partners and cross-functional teams to support delivery of larger initiatives. Collaborate with external supplier partners in a professional manner.
Marketing/Brand Review Processes:
Manage marketing/brand review processes from start to finish, ensuring materials are up-to-date and consistent with the organization’s brand identity and go-to-market strategy. Adhere to evolving brand identity and partner with our internal creative studio to align materials and cohesion of message, look and feel across managed channels.
GBP Marketing Team Participation:
Contribute to the team creatively, including brainstorming innovative ideas for marketing strategy and design.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, communications, or related field.
5+ years of management experience in marketing or project management. Experience in travel, hospitality or service industries is a plus.
Excellent presentation design skills and ability to communicate via Microsoft PowerPoint.
Self-starter with an eye for design and creative attitude towards problem-solving and storytelling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listens actively and effectively conveys information.
Ability to adapt and thrive through changing processes, priorities, and needs.
Comfortability with global remote teams and time zones.
Experience working in a large-matrix organization.
Proven success working with all levels of management.
Experience with briefing and collaborating with a creative agency is a plus.
The Company has good cause to conduct a review of criminal history for this specific position based on the job duties (see listed job duties above) and because the role will involve access to credit card data, confidential client information or data and other proprietary corporate information and trade secrets necessary for marketing and business advantage.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
