The
Video Production
Intern
is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department in the video workflow for Purdue Federal Credit Union's social media channels on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and X (formerly Twitter). This position will allow for 15-20 hours in the spring and fall semesters and will allow 30-40 hours over the summer.
*Employees are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to this position including, but not limited to all policies and procedures pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
•Shoot and edit video on a variety of financial education topics, digital banking tutorials, interviews, events, and other social content.
•Assist in ideation of creative video.
•Help uphold a consistent brand image in all videos.
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
• Education and Credentials
o College coursework related to multimedia design, video production, marketing and/or related field
o Must be available 30-40 hours per week in the summer and 15-20 hours per week in the fall and spring semester
• Experience
o Please provide links to 2-3 pieces of previous work you filmed and edited by yourself in your application
o Financial industry experience a plus, but not required
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
o Experience in using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Canva
o Knowledge in camera work (DSLR and smart phone) and audio recording
o Knowledge in motion graphics and graphic design principles
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Detail oriented
o Organized
o Ability to meet deadlines
o Ability to work independently
o Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
o Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership
