We are seeking a dynamic Content Growth Director to lead content SEO and marketing initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with Growth leaders on broader SEO and digital marketing strategy as well as learning content leaders. You’ll work closely with our business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute new content SEO and link building initiatives across our library of millions of learning resources. You’ll work at both a strategic and tactical level, turning data, research, and intuition into high-quality, engaging content.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement a comprehensive SEO content strategy for Study.com, tailored to enhance content visibility and user engagement across all educational segments.
- Spearhead the link building initiative, orchestrating content ideation, creation, and strategic outreach programs to bolster domain authority and rankings.
- Lead global teams as a strategic visionary and hands-on leader, diving into execution when needed while maintaining a long-term perspective.
- Direct and nurture content creation teams, streamlining workflows to boost productivity while foreseeing content needs and trends in education.
- Proactively analyze and forecast SEO developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities to maintain our competitive edge in search rankings.
- Design and implement content SEO strategy tailored to major segments like Test Prep and College, driving intentional search traffic to core products.
- Drive the adoption of AI and other tools to identify and fill content gaps, optimize pages, and champion SEO.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to craft and refine content that supports growth objectives, reinforces brand identity, and achieves educational outcomes.
- Continuously research and leverage educational and ed-tech market trends.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading distributed remote global teams, driving large-volume educational or digital content development, preferably in the ed tech industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading SEO in scaled digital content and managing off-site SEO, building high-quality links with innovative, engaging content.
- Proven track record operating as a hands-on manager and a strategic leader working with cross functional teams and leadership.
- Expertise working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and developing ways to integrate those tools into content operations processes.
The salary range for this position is $170,000-$210,000 per year. Pay is dependent upon factors including skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
