Designer
What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? As a designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities Would IncludeThe Associate Designer, Ops and Material Coordinator creates styles for production in Flex PLM. The function includes creation of the bill of materials, identifying inconsistencies, and prioritizing workload for downstream. This requires extensive collaboration with various outside departments to provide accurate tech packs.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be the point person to ensure tech pack meets criteria
Reviews & prioritizes styles based on daily open art report
Adhere to production timelines ensuring deliveries are met
Ensure art techniques are consistent with fabrication
Communicate issues/concerns/updates to cross functional teams for clarification/confirmation
Seamless communication with supervisor & final art manager
Must be aware of deadlines and schedule artwork accordingly in a fast-paced environment
Readiness to take on someone else’s workload in their absence or based on deadlines
Manages other responsibilities and projects, as assigned
Prepare artwork to be loaded into flex PLM and issue style number
Manage open art report and attend production meetings for priorities
Manage high level account specific projects
Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and address any errors or discrepancies in artwork files
Support overseas teams
Daily communications with overseas partners
OPERATIONS AND RESULTS:
Effectively prioritize workload for Final Art Team
Ability to be resourceful and troubleshoot, as well as #exible and collaborative
Monitor all licensor comments and design revisions, cross reference to open art report
Must be detail oriented in the review of tech packs
Recognizes the importance of accuracy
Understanding individual account specific details

Ability to be a self-motivator, proactive, and able to take direction
Must maintain an approachable, professional, & respectful manner with all teams & OS partners
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Understanding of garment construction
Mac proficient
Microsoft Office proficient
Flex PLM knowledge a plus
Knowledge of Adobe Suite
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion
2-4 years experience in Fashion Design

Salary Range: $62,000 - $70,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
