40 hours of sick pay after 90 days of employmentJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Planning Graphic Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is a unique blend of graphic design and transportation planning, requiring a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and a deep understanding of metropolitan transportation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining bus schedules, transit planning, map layouts, and other related graphic materials to support our consulting efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for urban planning and design.Responsibilities:1. Create and update bus schedules using specialized software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information.2. Develop and maintain transit planning materials, including maps, diagrams, and other visual aids.3. Use graphic design skills to create visually appealing and easy-to-understand materials for various audiences.4. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in transportation planning and graphic design.5. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and quality of materials.6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in transit planning, bus schedules, graphic design, working with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and map layout.2. A degree in Urban Planning, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.3. Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator is REQUIRED4. Strong knowledge of metropolitan transportation systems and planning.5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines.6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.8. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions.9.
