is seeking a talented
Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator
with creative problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, very organized and possess a desire to learn the overall business of architecture and of the company.The Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator at Wolcott is a multi-faceted role involving graphic design and marketing coordination. The role is responsible for providing a creative vision and developing the conceptual design for a wide variety of the branded environment, graphics, signage, and wayfinding of client projects, and works closely with design teams to provide overall scope of a branding, graphics, signage, or wayfinding project. The Graphic Designer also contributes to the design and production of Wolcott branded content and marketing materials while building and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed-upon company objectives.Typical Design Duties:Work on and with fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects and interior designers to develop and deliver environmental graphics, branding, wayfinding, or signage scope either as stand-alone projects or in conjunction with active interiors or architectural projects.In collaboration with Design Leads, develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions that include direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team.Review copy for final approval and facilitate approvals from the executive team.Be embedded on projects with the design teams, provide meaningful contributions for graphics direction that aligns with the overall objective of the space.Understand legal issues regarding use of artwork; manage the process and speak to non-disclosure agreements with staff and clients.Provide environmental graphic packages in collaboration with Team Leads and firm Principals.Interact with vendors on how items are built and provide recommendations on costs vs. valu adds, based on the client’s priorities.Lead all graphic related meetings – both internal and external (with clients).Typical Marketing Duties:Produce pitch decks and RFP responses with direction from designers and contribute to the creative vision and intention of each piece.Strategize and organize social media campaigns and marketing collateral. Expand the current collateral and activities to better engage with potential clients.Design and produce eblasts, website updates, social media and blog content and internal, branded pieces.As the “voice” of the marketing team, lead all weekly marketing and planning meetings.Lead marketing communications, oversee local PR and branding initiatives.Organize and build key client presentations.Qualifications, include but not limited to:Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Environmental Graphic Design, Signage, and Wayfinding.Bachelor’s degree in graphic design preferred.Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments.Strong wayfinding planning experience including conducting research, building user-profiles, developing wayfinding strategies, and documenting design solutions.Excellent communication skills and experience as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teams.Proven leadership skills and a talent for providing effective feedback and direction.Notably creative with a desire to merge knowledge and experience with business and art.Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and typesProficiency in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite and CADTools. Knowledge of Video Production, Video Editing, photography, ACAD, Revit, Sketch Up or 3D programs a plus.
