The Annenberg School of Journalism seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach JOUR 596 Follow the Money: Business and Economics. This graduate-level course is an intensive, reporting-based class that explores business and economic journalism. Students will be tasked with developing business story ideas, refining these ideas into cogent pitches, and delivering work that is of publishable quality.

In addition, university-level teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.The hourly range for this position is $37.87 – $46.96. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, as well as external market and organizational considerations.USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere.
