Job Description:
GDIT’s Strategy and Performance Group (SPG) is looking for an experienced, versatile strategic marketing professional to lead development and execution of high-impact, integrated campaigns supporting objectives for a federal government organization focused on international trade and law enforcement. The selected candidate will collaborate with marketing and communications team members, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and senior leadership to execute best-in-class marketing programs. The candidate also will welcome the chance to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed-work environment.

Create and execute compelling high-impact marketing campaigns aligned to strategic goals
Identify marketing opportunities; develop and execute campaign deliverables
Write content for cross-channel marketing communications such as webpage and social media, thought leadership, briefings, video scripts and other marketing collateral
Consult and manage outside vendors and marketing agencies to execute program content including marketing videos, advertising and other products
Establish consultative relationships with federal program SMEs, business development and capture teams, and program leadership
Lead and support special projects as required
Plan and facilitate meetings on various platforms (Teams, Webex, in-person, etc.) with cross-functional stakeholders
What you need to have:
Ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance with background investigation
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
8+ years of related experience in marketing, corporate communications, brand management, and/or public relations agency experience
Experience working in a federal government setting, particularly international trade or law enforcement programs (preferred)
Experience in developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns
Experience using digital marketing tools
Experience writing and editing webpages, articles, white papers, and other print and digital marketing collateral
Experience working with vendors and agencies
Strong writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent writing, editing and content development abilities
Experience conceiving and developing content for print and digital platforms
Detail-oriented and results and impact focused
Writing samples available upon request
Ability to work independently, exhibiting accountability and ownership for assignments and work products
Natural inclination to engage in brainstorming and troubleshooting exchanges
Comfortability working on a distributed team while working remotely
Comfortability working in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting priorities
US citizenship required
This is a Hybrid role being both remote and in Washington DC. Must be able to be onsite in Washington DC regularly.

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
