The Communications Admin will support the Marketing and Communications team with the division's overall daily flow of work for a 4-month seasonal position, full time from mid-November 2024 to March 2025 to cover an employee out on parental leave.Responsibilities:Manage the schedule and meetings of the VP, Marketing and Communications.Coordinate and schedule meetings and calendars and prepare agendas and minutes for meetings.Assist in event coordination and support, specifically for the 50th anniversary campaign events and other organization events that support our programs and donor initiatives.Manage the team's communication and ticketing system HappyFox and ensure exceptional communication, deadlines, and project management.Update and maintain team Asana projects and support overall team project management.Maintain and manage inventory of SDF promotional items.Oversee and track department budget including check processing and credit card management and recording expenses.Support division mailings including printing and stuffing envelopes.Maintain and manage database contacts for outside partners, including media, elected officials, nonprofit and civic partners.Additional responsibilities as assigned by Director, Events and Project Management.Minimum Requirements:3 years of administrative experience.Commitment to San Diego Foundation mission and vision.A self-starter who can work autonomously and effective time management.Laser attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent database management skills, Blackbaud/RE experience a plus.Able to manage multiple projects at one time.Exceptional customer-service and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated track record of coordinating meetings, schedules and events.Good problem-solving skills.Professionalism, candor, grace and a sense of humor under pressure.Must live in San Diego County and be able to come into the office at Liberty Station on Tuesdays and as-needed to support events and the team; occasional evening and weekend event support may be required.Pay Range:
$23.00-25.00 per hour; Hourly, nonexempt seasonal temp position (4 months: November 2024 - March 2025).San Diego Foundation is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency.
