The Branded Cards business serves more than 30MM customer relationships across the US, processing approximately 4.8 billion purchase transactions annually, $362 billion in sales volume, and generates over $90 billion in customer loans. We offer a combination of class leading proprietary value propositions such as the Citi Simplicity, Citi Double Cash, and Citi Rewards products as well as co-branded credit cards with iconic industry leaders such as Costco, American Airlines, AT&T, and Expedia. These value propositions are supported by our proprietary Thank You rewards program, a broad range of digital lending programs such as Flex Loan and Flex Pay, and industry leading digital experiences delivered through Citi Online and the Citi Mobile app.
Description:
The Benefits Team with is responsible for managing a suite of card benefits that complement the card products’ core value proposition and provide customer value and competitive differentiation. Card benefits managed by the Benefits Team fall into a number of categories including: Shopping, Protection, Personal Financial Management, Dining and Entertainment.
Citi Shop is the newest product in the Shopping benefit vertical. Launched in Q1 2024, Citi Shop is a browser extension based program that provides Citi credit card customers the opportunity to save money at over 5,000 online retailers. Given the recency since launch, the Citi Shop program is currently in the growth phase primarily focused on driving new enrollments.
Responsibilities:
Develop marketing and brand strategy supporting Citi Shop awareness & engagement
Drive execution of on-going Citi Shop awareness and engagement marketing campaigns
Lead execution of cross-channel marketing, positioning and testing, asset creation and revisions both with internal and external partners
Partner with marketing team to analyze marketing and testing data in order to make program recommendations
Lead on-going competitive assessment of marketing capabilities for shopping programs
Develop marketing capability roadmap to support desired marketing functionality end state
Lead execution of marketing technology capability enhancements in partnership with Marketing and Technology partners
Lead Citi Shop merchant marketing strategy
Qualifications:
6 - 10 years of experience in a marketing and/or product / program management
Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with cross-functional partners and Senior Leadership
Third party vendor / relationship management experience
Ability to deliver results, creates an executable path for achieving critical objectives and driving meaningful outcomes
Excellent organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines
Customer centric with ability to balance both customer/partner benefits and business financials
Sense of curiosity, interest in challenging conventional norms, and thinks strategically
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
