The Brand Marketing Associate/Manager Role
The Brand Marketing Associate/Manager for RAVE Restaurant Group strategically plans and implements marketing, communications and public relations efforts for both the Pie 5 and Pizza Inn brands. This role includes broad responsibility for development and execution of digital & traditional promotional tactics, as well as planning future promotions and menu innovations that continue to build the brand equity of our brands.
To excel in this role, the successful candidate must perform their duties with excellence while working in a fast-paced yet fun and friendly environment. The Brand Marketing Associate/Manager may be asked to:
•oversee implementation and execution of all elements of strategic marketing plans for tentpole/limited time offer promotions including social media posts, in-store point-of-purchase materials, digital and traditional advertising, public relations communications, and out-of-home promotions such as billboards, direct mailers, coupon wraps & FSIs
•facilitate Creative Requests from franchisees with our creative director & agency partner graphic designers, as well as oversee successful completion and implementation of those creative assets
•oversee and execute our Guest Relationship Management (i.e. CRM) program to include email and SMS promotions, as well as segment guest cohorts for different promotional offers based on their responses to previous promotional communications
•maintain and update the online presence of Pie Five and Pizza Inn brands and individual locations including websites, social media pages, and online listings (i.e. Google Maps, Yelp!, etc)
•handle guest feedback and communication via social media channels
•manage Marketing vendor partner day-to-day communications and relationships
•facilitate, oversee and execute new, reimaged and local store marketing support tactics
•conduct quantitative analysis of the performance of our national and local promotions
•work with our Executive Chef to develop future menu innovations
•manage and track Marketing budgets

How Would We Describe the Ideal Successful Brand Marketing Associate/Manager Candidate?
The ideal Brand Marketing Associate/Manager is ready to leverage their Marketing background and/or education and take their marketing career to the next level. We seek someone who genuinely loves the business discipline of Marketing, who takes great pride in delivering their responsibilities on-time and within budget. They move projects forward quickly, with minimal supervision or daily oversight when appropriate, but has no fear asking clarifying questions or asking for help when needed. The Brand Marketing Associate/Manager has a hunger to learn all elements of brand marketing and to enhance their strategic and executional skills. This individual can contribute independently, yet enjoys being an integral part of the Marketing and Operations team.
An ideal candidate would have earned their Bachelor's degree from a respected college or university and already have 2-5 years of Marketing or Advertising Agency experience, or have earned their MBA with 1-3 years of post-MBA Marketing experience. Previous experience in the restaurant/hospitality sector or packaged goods/foods is a plus. Diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Brand Marketing Associate/Manager with report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and work with fellow Marketing team members and our Marketing partners including advertising and public relations agencies, as well as our Creative Director. In addition, the Brand Marketing Associate/Manager will often work with Operations and Training team members and field-based Franchisee Business Consultants, in addition to working with our franchisees themselves.
