User Interface Engineer

Job Title: UI EngineerLocation : Tampa, Florida(day 1 Onsite)Type: Full TimeWe are looking for accomplished senior UI engineers who are passionate about building high quality, modern, front-end solutions that solve complex business problems via innovation and the application of engineering best practices.As a senior UI Engineer, this role will be responsible for hands-on development of front-end code, working as part of an agile scrum team, and partnering with UX and other engineering specialists to build digital products of the highest standard.ResponsibilitiesSignificantly contribute to the development of world-class enterprise applications leveraging the latest technologies and software design patternsDevelop and engineer front end solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working to collaboratively deliver sprint goals, write code, and participate in the broader Citi technical community and team-level Agile and Scrum processesApply extensive knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, ensuring software is built to the highest standardsPartner continuously with stakeholders, UX and QALeverage technical knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues, as necessaryGrow and develop subject matter expertise for the relevant area of business, applying this knowledge to ensure solutions are closely aligned to business needs and goalsProvide thought leadership, as well as coaching and development for junior team membersFollow and contribute to technical and team standards and practicesCollaborate with technical leadership to ensure work is aligned to the broad technical strategyRequired Qualifications5+ years as a Software Engineer/Developer using AngularMultiple years of experience using modern build tools for front-end solutions (npm, yarn, gulp etc.)Multiple years of experience using front-end test strategies and frameworks (jasmine, karma, selenium etc.)Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)Clear understanding of Service Oriented and MicroServices architectures, including REST and GraphQL implementationsClear understanding of building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applicationsMultiple years of experience with agile and iterative software deliveryBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experiencePreferred QualificationsExposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premises and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.)
