Position Overview:
ANSER is seeking a senior graphic designer to work with the CHIPS Research and Development Office (CRDO). In this role you will create a variety of graphic materials design services, communications and outreach, and marketing services for programmatic endeavors (i.e., meetings, conferences, tours, or other promotions); encompassing design strategy, branding, template creation, and digital and printed asset designs; email marketing, social media content development; contact resource management; supplementing strategic outreach, communication performance tracking and reporting, increasing awareness of external funding opportunities, floor displays/posters, and items to initiate and increase stakeholder engagement.Day to day responsibilities include: • Recommend overall organization and layout, editorial standards, publication methods, and the like. • Coordinates publications with outside sources as needed. • Ensures technical documentation is accurate and complete, that it meets editorial guidelines and government specifications, and that it adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style. • Designs and develops graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, manuals, and other publications and for inclusion in software and applications development. Formulates concepts and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions, and imagination. Se• Selects type, draws lettering, lays out material, or performs related duties. • Determines the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the desired effect and conform to reproduction requirements.
Coordinate branding and design activities with appropriate stakeholders.Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in graphic design, marketing, fine art or similarly related discipline.5 or more years progressive and relevant experience in graphic design.Hands on expertise using Adobe Creative Suite design software or other similar design software and web, multimedia, and video tools.Demonstrated familiarity with image manipulation and desktop layouts.Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree.Prior experience in the semiconductor industry.Experience/knowledge of in budgeting, contracting, and financial management.Experience/knowledge of supporting policy and process improvement activities.
